i came and watched the team play in Ashland...
i was sitting right in front of your dugout..
it was such an amazing experience for me.
i wish i could have saw you pitch though, but im comming to Akron so maybe then.
But your an amazing pitcher, and someday i hope to be out on the field in the USA uniform...

Hi Cat,

My 10 year old daughter is a huge fan of your's. She was able to see Team USA when you were in St. Louis and she was so excited to come home and tell me that she had yelled your name as you were running in between innings, and you took the time to stop and wave at her. I just wanted you to know how something as simple as a wave, means the world to these young girls. Thanks for everything you do!!

It is great to have people kids can look up to that are not making millions of dollars! I was the guy with the life-size display that you autographed. Thanks again! I am your #1 fan and wish you luck in the Olympics. You have a great smile, even though I looked zoned out in the pic. It had been a long day and we drove 2.5 hours to see the team.

My family and I were in Ashland for your game. Our cousin was one of the players on the MAC All-star team. My daughter who is 5 thinks that you are so cool. She watches the games on TV whenever she can. She plays T-ball right now and talks about you all the time. Thanks for being a great role model and being someone that the kids can look up to!

Hey Cat! Just wanted to stop in and say thanks for giving my daughter a dream to look forward to. She is 12 years old and has watched you through your career at UT. It is her passion to go to school at UT and play softball. She is a die hard softball player. She plays for our city league and also plays on a traveling tournament team. I am so proud of her efforts with sports and I am happy that she has you to look up to. We took her to see you in Killeen, TX on June 25th. I also watched you play at UT and I want to go to Ut as well. Even though I didn't get an autograph I had fun when I went to watch you in Midland, TX . I love to play softball but this past summer our team didn't do so good. We only won THREE games. Good luck and win the Gold for the USA since this is the last year for softball in the olympics.GO USA!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Cat , I finally was able to get your autograph and thank you so much especially for addressing it "To the Princess" I hope you like the cap, I know your favorite color is purple as mine is too, I wished only to have taken a picture with you but your gratitude was enough. I watched ya'll play in Las Cruces NM and in Midland, Texas and I really enjoyed watching you pitch in Midland, even though you had to pitch against my cousin Steph # 2 in Midland. You are still awesome and ya'll are the best. I am a loyal Longhorn fan and a CAT fan!!!! Hello there Cat! My girls kailey (6) and kylie (3) adore you. We went to watch you play in Midland, TX. I dont know if you remember or not, but they were the 2 little girls on top of the dug out yelling out your name "Cat" as you were walking back to your bus after signing autographs. Although my girls were not able to get your autograph (the line was soo long!) they were very happy to see you, none the less. Kailey has always said that she wants to play softball at UT, just like you, she only hopes she can see you again soon. You are such an inspiration to all-especially to my two little ones. Hi Cat. Just wanted you to know how much you mean to my little girl. She is 10 and started really coming into her own pitching-wise this year (6-0 0.00ERA 18SO 10IP). She models her style after you, and looks at the things you say as guidlines for becoming a great pitcher. As a football coach I have to admit that I used to view women's sports in a lighter sense. After following your career and learning how competetive softball has become, I must admit I am a major fan. Your accomplishments are greatly respected and as seriously taken as those in any other sport. You and your colleagues are born winners and from the experience I've obtained from playing and coaching, I see the drive in all of your eyes. It is no different than any sport. Winners have no race or sex. It is a desire you are born with and I believe you all have it.

HI Cat, I know you are busy now especially now that it is only a few weeks b4 you go to Beijing, I bet you are very nervous and excited! I know I still get kinda nervous when I have a game but once it starts Im good. I have been checking your blog everyday to see if you have a picture of you wearing the hat I picked out for you, I am looking for another one that I know you will like, Purple of course, my fave color too! Well i will keep looking at your website and keeping up with you because you really are my role model and my mom says that you have like a real positive influence on alot of young girls and give us a reason to love the sport of softball. that is what she says, and I have to believe my mom she knows best I guess. Hey Cat,
What's up? I am having a tough time with my dad. I know that you have to work hard to be good at what you do (pitching) and I know that somone has to push you to do the best you can do and try your hardest, but he takes it to the extreme. I'm sure that a lot of dad's are like that. It's not that I dont love my dad, because I do. It's just that he is constantly talking about it and constantly acting like my coach instead of a dad. I can say that he has been with me through it all though. If it were not for him I would never in one-million years be as good at pitching as I am today.

I have the same problem with my dad!!! He used to push me all the time but now he stopped b/c I told him I am satrting to hate softball. I dont however hate softball. Its just been a long season and I cant wait intil all stars is over so I could have a break. Good luck with pitiching tho!!!

I think you are awsome. I am a lefty also and I started pitching when I was 6 years old. I love pitching and I practice 6 or 7 days a week. I like to pitch because I work hard and I like the challenge of it. I LOVE to stike girls out.!!! I like to watch you pitch on T.V. I would like pitch in the olympics someday.
