Cat i know you are busy but Im glad you caught up on your blog. I cant wait til the Olympics start I told my mom to write the dates on the calendar from your first game until the closing of the Olympics so I know I will see you and the rest of the team get the GOLD!! Well I just needed to let you know like everyone else tells you, you are a role model to me and I want to play softball just as great as you do, you and Lisa Fernandez are my favorite softball players. Well from Odessa, Texas to you Jesus be with you and Angels protect you! and the rest of the team too Go USA and of course LONGHORNS!!!!!!!

Hi, I know that you and the team are very busy right now. I just wanted to write to say good luck to you and the USA team. I have been watching the games and the team is doing great. I also wanted to let you know that you are my neices idol. She plays fastpitch on the summer teams here in North Carolina. She loves watching the US team play and dreams of being on the team someday. She says that she hopes to be just half as good as you are someday. Well I know that you are very busy so I'll say goodbye.

I do not understand why Softball is being pulled from the Olympics. The committees complain about the number of people watching then pull one of the most watched sports. Doesn't make sense to me. "Break Legs" in China.....

I just want you to know you made the dreams of three little girls come true tonight. They rode 4 hours to come watch and then stood in that long line for over an hour and you were so wonderful to them. They were cheering and jumping for joy after you signed their balls and gloves. You will never know how much that means to them and me. Those little things give them hope that dreams can come true. May God Bless you and your team and go USA!

Hi Cat!! My name is Taylor and you are my favorite softball player. I watched your game in Springfield last night and you were awesome. Thank you for signing my softball. My number is 8 and I play on a 8u team called the Pink Panthers. My team took 3rd place in the ASA state tournament in Kansas this year. I am a pitcher too and I want to pitch just like you!!!! i love you so much.You are absoultely amazing.I was going to go to one of your games before you went to the olympics but i had a toutnament of my own that day.I am a softball player as well.I am on an all-star team in 12 and under.You are my idol,i want to be just like you when i am older.I plan on playing softball throughout college and i really want to go to Texas University and follow in your foot steps.Good luck in the olympics. Hey Cat, you are the BEST pitcher in the whole world! I was going to go to one of your games in Midland,Tx, but i had to play in one of my softball tournements. I play softball on a 12 and under traveling team and i am one of the pitchers for my team. You are my role model and i want to be just like you when i get older. I plan on playing softball throughout college and then play on the USA softball team. The college that i definatley want to go to is Texas University and be an AWESOME softball player just like you. Hi Cat, I had the pleasure of seeing Team USA play the Brackettes last night, another awesome game! It was a privilege to watch the team play but I have to say it was an honor to watch the autograph session after the game. I sat back and took it all in. You and your teammates are true ambassadors of the game. After a nine inning game in the heat and humidity you ladies spent nearly an hour making hundreds of little girls incredibly happy. Please pass along my sincere thanks and gratitude to the entire team, it was something special to watch.

Hey Cat, I dont know if you see this but I wanted to THank you for what you do for fans! i was part of event staff at the Brakettes game and was on the field while you were signing. After the people you were with said the signing session was over and they had to take the marker away from you and you continued to take pictures with fans, I just thought that was awsome and it shows you really care about your fans. Thanks that just really awsome of you!!

Hey Cat, I was going to go to your game in akron ohio but we couldnt go cause the tickets were sold out!! Im a really great pitcher just like you. I can pitch just like you and jessica abbot!!and still get strikes. At the age of 11 i can pitch at 42 mph!!!! WOW!!!
Im your #1 FAN CAT !!!!!

i was reading your blog and i read about your brother at the baseball game, that is so cool that he would take time to do that. If i ever come to one of your games which hopefully i will i would wait forever to get you to sign my ticket. It would be the best day ever. You are truly my hero, no joke. well i jst wanted too say..that u and your whole team inspire me..i've been playing softball since i was 6..i started off with little league && now im playing at my high school level..i play ever position except pitching..but by the help of some people im actually getting there..your a great player..and ill be routing for you on the Olympics good luck.

I met you last night at the Salem, Virginia game. I just wanted to take the time and say that you are a true inspiration to all girls who play softball. Cat I met you in louisiana when you played the university of louisiana lafyete and I was diapointed you wer'nt pitching but had a great time meeting you and the USA team . I just want to let you know everybody tells me that i look just like you and I pitch like you. My name is Madison and thats why they call me Madcat. Hi Cat,
I have followed your career for years! I am 50 and played softball for 30 years. I wanted you to know you are such a great role model for all girls/women no matter how old we are! I went to the world cup last year and saw you guys play and it was awesome! And then you came to Rohnert Park this year!!! What a great honor that you guys came to RP in Ca!!! Hey Cat your the best !!!!!!! I 've been to see Bobby Smith and he is really nice . He showed me where you had pitching lessons on the basketball concrete court and you threw a new pitch and you could see the blood from your dads nose. It was so cool how i got to stand where you stood and pitched . Good luck in the OLYMPICS !!!!!!!!!!!! LOVE YA madcat26

Dear Cat,

I am a pitcher and i am 13. I was not blessed with size so i am not the hardest thrower around. I locate the ball and count on my defense to make plays. Most of the time they didnt pull threw. I know i need to keep my emotions in becuase it isnt my fault. But how would you handle this when u are on the mound what would you say and how would u act. Thanks alot

I actually wanted to thank you so very much for your kindness in Irvine CA this past Saturday night. I have been attached to softball all my life (29) years one way or another either playing or coaching. It is the best game there is. I want to thank you for taking the time to sign autographs after the game and allowing me to get my picture take with you. I went to that game for my birthday, and to accomplish one of my biggest dreams which I never in my life thought would happen and that is to see the Olympic Softball team play in person, and my biggest dream above that, to see you in person. Thank you, thank you, thank you and good luck in the Olympics, you'll do awesome, just like always :0)
