  Why are pitchers their own worst critics? Like Softballstar said, you pitched strikes and they hit'em. You're only human - you ladies all do a GREAT job, both on and off the field. I was fortunate enough to catch you a couple years ago @ the OTC in C.V.; it was really quite a memorable experience! How did you do on the GMAT?

  You did an awesome job Friday. I was so fortunate to be there. Hang in there and kick butt on the rest of the tour. Hopefully I'll see you in Springfield in July.

  Hi Cat and everyone....as you can see by my screen name..I'm now a new softball fan.
  What got me hooked, was watching you pitch Cat...Wow, I know it's called "fastpitch", but you were awsome. As I continued to watch, I loved how you guys played like a well oiled machine. I truly blieve the USA Softball time will be a force to be reckoned with for this summer's olympics..I can't wait.
  I hope you guys come back to the eastcoast (I missed the game you played against VA Tech :0( ) I would love to watch you guys play live..

  Cat, your an amazing pitcher/player!! I'm left handed also but I play 1st base. I've been playing softball since I was about 7, and now I am 15 bout to be 16 in october. I look up to you sooo much, I plan to follow in your foot step's by going to Texas then playing for U.S.A. I have always wanted to go there since I was little. By the way I live in Richardson,Texas.

  I think that Cat Osterman is a perfect role model for young girls who are learning how to be a pitcher. She teaches them that they can do something good with their extra time and how you have to work to get what you want. She has helped me to bacome a great pitcher by being a good role model and teaching me to set goals for myself

  I tottally agree with noezout99. A pitchers strongest weapon is her confidence and if you have a bad day pitching just shake it off becouse you cant change the past. All you can do is get ready and practice hard for the future. All that matters is that you try your hardest !!!

  i just became a member or wut ever it is but i wanted to let u know i am ur 1 fan. i hav ur posters everywhere on my wall and i got pics from the internet, put them in My Pictures, then i put it in a cd. i also watch every single game u play and if i seem just a lil 2 crazy im srry im just happy about all of this.+ i got a video of u pitching when u came to cat city and played against hawaii. it was a great game u guys killed them.anyways gtg,and srry i seem way 2 crazy im actually a calm person,write back,UR BIGGEST #1 FAN ,kayla

  i know i am not cat or anything but i moved up to 12u 2 years ago it was really hard to move up to the big ball cus my hands r really small alll i did was i practed with wiith the bigger ball as much as i could and got used 2 it in no time

  hey cat! i know you probabally hear this a lot, but i am one of your BIGGEST fans. i watch all of your games, even though i haven't been able to come to a game yet. i'm hoping i go to the stevens point game! i love to watch you pitch. i've learned a few things from just watching you. but it doesn't work quite as well for me as you make it look. you have no clue what a role model you are for me. one day i hope that i will be even some what as good as you are. you have gave me confidence that just because i have a bad game that i just have to take it as a learning experience and shake it off and go into the next game and try to improve to be a better pitcher.

  ok that was the bratty side of me.i feel like im the biggest fan but i might not even though i hav literly all ur posters and i watch ALL UR GAMES EVERY SINGLE 1and i hav ur bat i hav ur glove i became a pitcher just to try it out and now im the best in the league im also # 8 every year. and wen i went to c u play at field of dreams i got a real USA practice shirt. trust me i know it was real because it cost $80, but the real reason i write a lot is because u r the biggest most important role model 2 me. hu, sometimes i feel like i luv u.(im really not that weird once u get to know me + my fav color is purple 2!)

  omg! i luv softball so much and cat, i have to give you credit! in 2006 my local allstar team went to the state tournament and while we were there the world series was going on. Im a pitcher too so as soon as i saw you pitch i was hooked! We ended up placing third in the state but that year i fell in luv with softball! now i hav your bat and hope to get your glove soon! I am a huge fan and hope to be just as good as you one day! I just wanted to say that you are my role model and i would die to meet you! i hope one day i will! please write back soon if you can! thanx!!!

  Hello there! I would start off and say the same thing everyone else says "I AM YOUR BIGGEST FAN!!!" But I thought I would shake it up a bit. I think you are an amazing pitcher. I watch you every chance I get. I have even got on you tube and typed your name in just to watch what you do. I have pitched since my first year of fastpitch and every year I get a step closer to my dream... to be in the same spot you are in today! There is nothing more in life I want more than to move on and play for Texas University and follow in your footsteps. I just want to let you know that you have definately inspired me in many ways and I really admire you. Good Luck in Beijing!

  I think im the only dude on here lol. But i just wanted to say that im a huge fan of yours. I have watched you threw college to now. Ive always watched and thats what got me hooked into softball. Your senior year when you guys went to the WCWS was the same year that my travel team made it to the state championships. Our championship game was the day after you guys lost. So i pitched my heart our that day. On my last pitch i told myself "do it for cat" and i struck the guy out to win. Well i just wanted to let you know that your amazing and are a true romodel. I hope to see you in Akron.

  hey cat i haven't rote 2 u in a long time and i just wanted 2 tell u that i just been voted 2 go on the 12 year old travel team and im only ten.they thought that i was a great pitcher and i was ready 2 go back 2 40 ft., but then they found out that i was a home run hitter. they just said i could make it 2 the usa softball team.i thought that was a great idea cause i could c u.good luck in ur games in my games we got enough luck all we do is win but i feel like we will lose soon, i should never think bad things .again good luck

  My daughter and I saw you just yesterday in Midland, MI. We have both been big fans of yours for quite a while. Being able to see you pitch in person was definately the highlight of the game!

  Hi Cat you r my favorite pitcher ever. I love the way you pitch. You have so much speed and arm strength. I'm a pitcher 2 and i play with an ASA club team called Casa Grande Heat. I'm only ten and I have some heat in my pitching. Since CG Heat has a 12 and under division and I was given an oppurtunity to play with the 12 and under Heat division. I chose to stay with ten and under division for one more year and then I'll go to 12's. PLZ write back. Jazmyn #4 Casa Grande Heat
