Good hearing from you again. Congratulations to you and the DePaul softball team on their fall season. Glad to hear you are enjoying a normal life and both you and Tucker are doing well. You'll get the condo decorated eventually. Good Luck on your test next week. I'm sure you'll do fine. I hope you enjoy your upcoming travel adventures but be careful and don't over do it. I'm only saying that because I care about you.

Hi, Cat. I hope your day this fall has been a particularly good one! (Fall is my favorite time of year. Yours? Have you ever been to Vermont this time of year?)
I guess Depaul doesn't have a football team. I attend grad school at UNT, and they don't either! I'm sure you've been following the Longhorns. They're playing well and took it to the Buffs last night, but next week's Red River game could be tough.
I lived in Lubbock up until 2 years ago and like the way Leach does it at Tech. I can't believe they're #7 now, not far behind UT!
Do you like college football? Do you like the Dallas Cowboys? I'm not one of those who likes the same team regardless. If I like the players (or a player), then I like the team. I really liked the Longhorns softball team when you were there, Cat. Now I'm in love with Depaul's team...
So, is Tucker a democrat or republican? ! I'm thinking he's an independent! Anyway, he's sure a lucky dog to have you.

Hi Cat! I am a 12 year old fast pitch softball player and my favorite color is purple too! I play travel 14U fast pitch -usually 1st base. I was really excited to see that you have softball gloves that are black and purple. I am really tall 5'7" and they expect me to be 6'3" because I have been growing four inches a year. I would like to get your glove in a 12.5 or 13 for next season, but the biggest I can find it is 12. Do you make it bigger than 12? If not, maybe you could suggest they start making them bigger than 12. Thanks for your help and good luck in school.

Cat,
I am writing in hopes that you would help make my brother-in-law smile. He has recently been diagnosed with a very agressive form of prostate cancer, he is only 45. The father of three boys, the youngest being only 6 years old. He is a HUGE fan of yours. He and my sister Dawn went to Oklahoma City last summer to watch you and the rest of the USA Team. He never missed a game when you and rest of the team were in Beijing. It would be wonderful if you could post a message on his blog (marksprayerteam.blogstop.com). He goes in tomorrow to for scans to see if his cancer has spread. We will know more on Wednesday when he meets with his doctor to go over the results. Please send him an encouraging word. My daughter is called "Little Cat" by her softball team....they say she looks like you and she is a lefty. One question for you..during the South Florida Fastpitch Camp in Tampa, will you be an actual one on one coach with the participants? I want to give this to my daughter for her b-day and want to sign her up for whatever session you will be apart of.

Hi Cat!
I am a 14 year old fast pitch softball player in NJ. I play travel 14U fast pitch as a pitcher. I am always told that I have no natural ability, but I have all the drive in the world. I am good for now, but I feel I have problems with getting better. Do you have any tips on getting speed and keeping with it everyday? How do you keep the drive to pitch and keep playing? cat u rock i want to b just like u. iwant to go to univesaty at the uot and play in the olimpcs. there are girls in my school who say i wont be able to that i wont be good enough.

Hey Cat, i cant beleive i havn't wrote to you in a long time. well i have been a little busy with school and softball. i just finished the softball season for school. we were undefeated and we won in the championships. my middle school had not won the chamionship for softball and this year we did and i was the pitcher, it was AWESOME!!!=)=)=) well now im trying out for basketball for school and i think i made it=) well i've been playing softball for the city for fall ball and we have been doing GREAT!!!=)=)=) softball has just been AWESOME for me right now=) tomorrow i have a softball game for the city and i cant wait to play and pitch=)=)=) but i cant wait untill im old enough to go to college at The University of Texas(UT) and be successfull there just like you when you were there=)=)=) but i really cant wait untill im old enough to play on The USA Softball Team and be an AWESOME softball pitcher just like you=)=)=) and hopefully your still on the team in 2016 cuz i'll be able to play on the USA Softball Team and play in my 1st olympics and hopefully play on The USA Softball Team with you, that would just be SOOOOOOOOO AWESOME!!!=)=)=) YOU'RE THE GREATEST SOFTBALL PITCHER AND YOU ALWAYS WILL BE AND ONE DAY I WANNA GROW UP TO BE AS GREAT AS YOU=)=)=), THE USA SOFTBALL TEAM IS THE BEST SOFTBALL TEAM EVER AND IT ALWAYS WILL BE AND HOPEFULLY I WILL PLAY ON THAT TEAM ONE DAY=)=)=), GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO USA SOFTBALL TEAM WOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!, GOOOOOOOOOOOO CAT OSTERMAN, WOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! Cat I printed out the two poems both the one where I spell out your name and the one that spells out USA Softball and mailed them to the PO Box last Wednesday I think. I hope you enjoy them. I wrote both of them so easily. They just came to my mind one day while I was looking at your mom's Olympic pictures. I hope you're enjoying your time in New York . Hope to hear from you soon

Hope you are enjoying (or have enjoyed) your stay in New York. Hope, too, you brought your appetite because we, up here in the NY/NJ/CT area, eat our pizza, pasta and Mediterrean desserts every day ... and twice on Sundays!

Hi Cat!! I'm a pitcher for my grade school softball team and I play 14U travel team too. I love softball soo much I would die if I couldn't play! And I just love watching you pitch! It's amazing! Hey Cat. I bet your new puppy keeps you on your feet. We also adopted a puppy 3 weeks ago but he is now 10 weeks old. We got a yellow lab named, Freddie. He is the cutest little thing ever but chewing on everything too. Hope all goes well with yours, and I am sure he will make many happy memories with and for you!

hi cat wats up!! ur a great pitcher and you cant forget great player to.i'm a pitcher too i live in parkersburg,wv small town....but, i am 11yrs. old. you can pitch at 62 mph and guess wat by the age of 11 pretty good . i can pitch at 46mph cool for my age huh??

hey cat, how are ya? i hope things are going cool for you. keep up all the good work you do, but keep some time for yourself also, I have only seen one pic of tucker but you are right, he is quite a handsome boy, i have two dogs, one is a black and white shih tzu named wickett, thn there is Neo a maltese, they are quite a challenge some days. you are such an inspiration, keep it up, i can only imagine how hectic any given day must be for you. if you ever need a buddy to vent to i'm always here to listen, take care
