You young ladies represented our country very well in last month's Beijing summer games. I understand you originally hail from Houston, so I hope your famil(ies) down there are doing all right in the aftermath of Hurricane Ike. Regards.

Do you think she should just stick to one sport in high school?
Sarah first sport is softball. She is going to a pitiching coach and he says he has never seen a 13 year old throw 58 miles per hour. She is on a travel team and she plays on the Westbank Belles 13-15 Belles team.
Cat, Sarah and I would love for you to come see us or at least set up a little mini camp in our area for the day . Sarah and I would love to show you around, lots of things to do.
Your puppy is the cuties puppy I have ever seen!

Well I have to start off with this; You got a dog, how wonderful! I know as puppies they are nothing but trouble, all the accidents, the torn up shoes, it is pure misery, but we got our yellow lab when she was just ten weeks, and we loved every minute of that misery, because every time she did something bad, she would give us the cutest face in the world and you couldn't help but laugh :) So don't worry, he will be house trained in no time!
And next the Oprah show, what an honor to be able to be on the Oprah show! But as everyone knows, family comes first :) But I don't get how they didn't talk that much with the softball team, I wish you were there! It would have been nice to see Jessica or Laura talk, but Jennie is okay with me :)
Just keep living your dream!

First I would like to say it was a honor to meet you and team USA in Prescott AZ. I also hope you and the team enjoyed the banana bread I baked for your team.
I enjoyed watching the Bejing tour and each game of the Olympics. I love watching you pitch!
I liked the article of you in Denver Magazine, August 2008.
I am sure Depaul will do well with you back on the coaching staff.
I am excited for the next Harry Potter movie to come out. I was ready to watch in November, before they moved it to June of next year. I will have to read the books again to in full Harry Potter mode come June.
I wonder who is you favorite character, Professor Minerva McGonagall.
I understand that you are quite busy and I thank you for all the enjoyment you have brought to us all.
THANK YOU so very much!

I actually go to DePaul University in Chicago and I saw you helping someone pitch a couple days ago. I love softball and play shortstop, i also pitch though I haven't had much experience in it but I love it! I was wondering if you know anything about open tryouts to join the softball team or is it all just recruiting? I really do want to play.
C is for the Confidence she has when she plays.
A is for Awesome. What opposing hitters says
T is for Texas. Where she spent her college days
O is for Olympics. She's pitched in two.
S is for Strikeouts. She has quite a few.
T is for the Tenacity she has when she throws.
E is for Emotions that she's not afraid to show.
R is for the Rise ball that's hard to hit.
M is for Muscles. She has muscles and stays fit.
A is for her Atheleticism that's second to none
N is for Nice. She's nice and kind to everyone.
Put it together and what does it say?
Cat Osterman a person who's special in many ways.
Watching her can make you forget you're having a bad day
The end of this rhyme is coming near
Congratulations Cat on your awesome career
You can print this out or do whatever you want with it as it was written for you . I wouldn't have posted it this way but I wanted you to see it and I didn't know how to get it to you any other way then printing it out and mailing ot to the PO Box . Your mom also has it on her most recent blog from last Friday.
Take Care and have fun coaching. How's classes going? I bet you're keeping extremely busy. How's Tucker? Let us know what's going on when you have some free time. How about those Cubbies! Are they finally going to win the World Series 100 years later? I guess I'll have to start following DePaul softball the way I followed Texas Softball
Got to go for now. I hope you enjoy the poem
